The Wines of Robin Baum
Hello and welcome to the enchanting world of RBW.
I produce wines across three legendary Italian wine regions, from north to south:
- Veneto – home to my only white wine, made from the local Soave grape Garganega, blended with Pinot Nero
- Tuscany – the heartland of Chianti Classico and Brunello di Montalcino, where Sangiovese reigns supreme
- Sicily – on the iconic slopes of Mount Etna, I craft wines from the indigenous Nerello Mascalese grape.
My Philosophy
I make wines that, if they don’t all sell, I’ll happily drink myself!
My goal is to showcase the pure, natural flavours of each grape, producing small-batch, characterful wines using time-honoured methodologies.
All my wines are organic, with some also following biodynamic principles. They’ve earned numerous awards, consistently scoring over 90 points on the Parker scale.
Why “The Egg Man”?
I’m a pioneer of ceramic egg-shaped vessels, crafted in Italy, France and Australia. These clay vessels, fully certified by the relevant Food Standards Authorities, play a key role in my winemaking.

You won’t find my wines in supermarkets or chain retailers — as an artisan producer, I choose to sell directly. Please browse the shop for mixed cases of 6 bottles, or contact the team directly for special orders:
